Types Of Complaints:

Leeming Spartan Cricket Club (Inc.) provides an easy way to complain in regards to the corporate aspect of the Club, its members, and general complaints unrelated to the previous two types.

Forms are available at the bottom of this page for you to complete online regarding these types of complaints. Please ensure you complete the correct form as completing the wrong form may inhibit our capacity to provide an accurate result.

Corporate Complaints:

Leeming Spartan Cricket Club (Inc.) makes it possible to complain about the corporate aspect of the Club.

Please note that this is different from suggestions or requests (“feedback”), as it is used to make a formal complaint in regards to issues about the fundamental running of the club as a business.

Player Complaints:

We have a large playing group and play matches at various locations around the state, and as such, it unfortunately and occasionally arises that members of the public may experience conduct by our members that is entirely against the conduct expected of a Leeming Spartan Cricket Club (Inc.) member, as outlined in our Behavioural Policy.

As such, we provide a gateway to complain in order to ensure that we rectify the matter as quickly and as effectively as possible, and ask that you please do not hold back in your lodging of a complaint, but also provide information that you believe is accurate and informative (or to the point).

General Complaints:

Please complete this form for other complaints of a serious nature (again, those not relating to feedback or suggestions in regards to the Leeming Spartan Cricket Club (Inc.) or its members) that is not applicable to the two types of complaints above.


First Steps:

Leeming Spartan Cricket Club (Inc.) values your right to complain and we are committed to treating complaints seriously, dealing with them quickly, and using the information to improve our policies, systems and services. We treat all complaints confidentially in line with our Privacy Policy.

Before you lodge a complaint, we recommend that you:

  • first, try to sort it out with the person you have been dealing with (or via the phone number you have been given)
  • if you are not satisfied, talk to the Committee
  • if you are still not satisfied, consider lodging a complaint.

Leeming Spartan Cricket Club (Inc.) is extremely committed to treating you with respect and courtesy in our dealings with you ŠŠand we ask in return that you treat our staff with courtesy and respect.


How Do We Treat Your Complaint?

Once you have lodged your complaint a Leeming Spartan Cricket Club (Inc.) committee member via the form below, will contact you. We aim to do this within 3 working days. This committee member will work with you to resolve your issue (or issues) and will keep you informed of the progress of the case.

The time we spend investigating your complaint depends on its seriousness and complexity, but we aim to finalise the matter within 28 days.

Sometimes we may not be able to deal with your complaint in the timeframes set out above. If that is the case, we’ll contact you to give you progress updates so you know what is happening. You can also contact us to check the progress of your complaint.

Please note that this avenue is not the most reliable and is best used only for highly serious complaints or complaints regarding illegal activities. For illegal activities, you should contact your local Police Force before proceeding.
