The recent Day At The Trots kindly hosted by the Pinjarra Paceway proved to be a sensational event for the Leeming Spartan Cricket Club, with over seventy Spartans making the trip down to Pinjarra.

There were many highlights of the day, but perhaps the best was when two of our own were invited to accompany the Pinjarra racers in what was called the inaugural “Dual Sulky Cup”, named after one of their retiring stalwarts who has been involved in over 400 races.

Spartans Riley Sutherland and Jordan Middleton won the raffle to get the chance to accompany the two riders for a race around the Paceway, and best yet the Pinjarra Paceway team were extremely generous in recording and commentating the race.

Please have a look at the video below with the commentary (and official start of the race) commencing at 1:45. Riley is dressed in black and Jordan is dressed in gold.
