There were some absolutely phenomenal performances for the Spartan army over the weekend, capped off by a sensational all-round effort from Nathan King.
Kingy made a brilliant unbeaten 44 with the bat, after earlier taking 4/23 off his 8 overs which included a stunning hat-trick. The SJ Blues were cruising at 3/103 after winning the toss and batting first before Kingy’s incredible effort helped bowl them out for 114!
Further congratulations go to Mark Elvidge who batted brilliantly for most of the day during 1st Grade’s clash with Phoenix, in making an exceptional 89 not out!
Matt Scarterfield also scored a brilliant 83 in the One Day ‘C’ clash with East Fremantle, and Seb Quirk also contributed a very useful 54 in the One Day ‘A’ clash with Perth Tamil.
