Congratulations to Jason Cunningham who recently scored his second century of the season for the Spartan army!

On Saturday, 21st January, Cunners smashed 105 to help the One Day ‘B’s score an imposing 6/228 from forty overs!

Jason has had an incredible season so far with the bat, and from six innings in Ronny-Mac’s One Day B’s, his lowest score is 34.

With scores of 39, 34, 112*, 47, 42, and now 105, Cunners’ tally of 379 runs for the season places him second on the list of the leading Spartan run getters this year.

In the round twelve clash against Maddington at Harmony Fields, Jason smashed the incredible knock, helping the One Day ‘B’s rack up 6/228 from their forty overs, batting superbly in strong partnerships with Leon Kingston (64 run stand), and Dave Abercrombie (93 run stand), before finally falling with 210 on the board.

He has been pivotal at the top of the order for the side, laying an extremely solid foundation in every game he has played this season.

Not to go down without a fight, Maddington were finally dismissed for 185 after thirty-five overs, Cunners himself chipping in with two wickets, finishing with 2/9 from five overs!

Congratulations mate, another fantastic performance in a fine season!
