It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Life Member Merv Smith, a beloved and popular member of Spartans.
Merv passed away last week and was inducted as a Life Member of the Leeming Spartan Cricket Club in 1993.
He debuted in the 1975/76 season and played 93 matches for the club, also serving as Vice President from 1990 to 1992.
He will be sorely missed by all of the Spartan family.
