Well it’s that time again – Cricket Season! Ahead of Round One of the 2021/22 SMCA Season, tomorrow night at “The Home of Cricket” – John Connell Reserve is our Spartan Season Launch!
Our Club President Peter Coombs and his hard working committee invite all club Life Members, Members, Families, everyone to John Connell Reserve Clubrooms to launch the season in style.
From 7pm onwards, the club will serve a players tea for all then introduce our grades, announce our team captains, reveal our club sponsors for the season then our Round One Two Day Grades will be announced by the one and only Ron McDonald.
Plus our bar will be open as always with club clothing to go and season memberships to be paid!
So what a great incentive to get down to training from 5pm, get a net session in to dust off the cobwebs and stick around for a great night from there.
