You don’t actually need to be a playing cricketer to be part of the Leeming Spartan Cricket Club thanks to our non-playing membership! It gives you all the features playing members enjoy and a whole heap more including merchandise and clothing.
Maybe you’ve retired, are injured, or perhaps friends or family of a Spartan member. Well then, rejoice! You too are more than welcome to become a Spartan!
You’ll receive all of the awesome benefits our regular playing and/or social members get, including access to all of our Spartan functions and events, monthly player teas, discount vouchers from sponsors, free hire of the clubhouse, and even a formal club shirt!

How does this differ from Gold/Silver Social Membership?
Our Non-Playing Membership is the ultimate way to become part of the Spartan Army without the need to play a game! Get down and enjoy the action this season, with special access to all events and action!
This really is the perfect purchase for friends and family of the Club, including sponsors, past players, and all those who love the Leeming Spartan Cricket Club!
The main difference between the two is that this is a mid-way offer for new Spartans to get involved, aimed at those who don’t intend on taking to the field but still want to join in on the fun at the Leeming Spartan Cricket Club.
As part of our liquor license, the Leeming Spartan Cricket Club is required to only sell alcohol to registered members or friends of said members. As a result, by becoming a non-playing member, you are always more than welcome to join in at the Spartan clubhouse and utilise our incredible bar and kitchen facilities.
Social membership includes a few changes in the packages received, (such as bar cards and ability to participate in our social matches), and notably, it also includes free tickets to our Read/Waterer Medal Presentation and SMCA Windup evening each February. These tickets can be purchased separately for $10.00 closer to the date.
