A very special congratulations to Spartan Premiership Captain and Association winner Darren Hewson and wife Nicole on the birth of their twins late last month!
Ruby Diane and Harley Beau were born at 4:03am and 4:04am respectively on the 23rd of March 2017.
On what was a fantastic night that lasted well into the hours of Saturday morning, Callum Appleby marked the end of a fine season by taking home the Knox-Peden Young Spartan Award for 2016/17 at our Windup last Friday!
The newly renamed award – it was previously known as the Jack Knox-Peden Best Club Junior Award – is a just reward for Callum, who has had a fine season on and off the field.
Our Windup will be taking place at our clubhouse this Friday from 6:30pm and is not to be missed – the final official engagement before we close for the winter months.

With summer over before it had seemingly even begun, Leeming Spartan were sent in to bat on the opening day of our First Grade Semi Final on a grey and miserable day, CBC winning the toss and unsurprisingly electing to field.
