On what was a fantastic night that lasted well into the hours of Saturday morning, Callum Appleby marked the end of a fine season by taking home the Knox-Peden Young Spartan Award for 2016/17 at our Windup last Friday!
The newly renamed award – it was previously known as the Jack Knox-Peden Best Club Junior Award – is a just reward for Callum, who has had a fine season on and off the field.
The Leeming Spartan Cricket Club’s honour board helps to recognise some of the outstanding individuals who have made Leeming Spartan one of the most successful sporting clubs in Western Australia.
Congratulations to Mick Bennett on taking his 600th wicket for the Club on Saturday January 14th!
