Later this year the Bonds, Graeme and Tab, are taking a sixes cricket team (the ‘Singapore Spartans’) to Singapore to compete in a social competition over the June long weekend.
All members are welcome to come along and play – certainly the more the merrier – with four confirmed at present.
The Club has previously played in this tournament and it always proves to be great fun and highly enjoyable for anyone who attends.
“The Spirits team who runs the tournament came and played against us a couple of years ago on John Connell in a Twenty20 match, so it would be awesome to have Spartans play in the Spartan’s team!
The president, Amar, unfortunately passed away earlier this year and we really want to make this tournament special to honour him. If you are interested or think you might be able to attend, please have a look at the attached doc and let me know.” – Tab
