Having seen the retirement of a Brian Waterer, who served as President for a record 21 years, incumbent Peter Read was not to be intimidated, overseeing a great period of success and laying foundations for crucial aspects we still utilise today.
The launch of our new website, one of the first amongst Clubs in our association, continuing progression towards our new clubhouse, creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for all, and getting results through out all grades were just some of the many works Peter was responsible for during his time in office.
